Recently I went to a Reiki Circle at Miami Life Center in Miami  Beach. It was my first time experiencing Reiki and I was super excited. I was
greeted by a big group of unfamiliar faces that made me feel like I had known  them for years. We all sat on the floor in a very cozy atmosphere and chanted  (which I used to think it was people jumping around a bonfire lol) but it was  much deeper than that. We created this incredible harmonic "om" sound that  sounded like an choir.It was pretty amazing. After, we all sat in chairs and  those that were Reiki practitioners would come up to us individually  and do energy work on us. I had my eyes closed, no one was touching me, and yet  I could feel the warmth of their hands hovering over my body. I guess that's the  power of your mind. At the end, our Reiki master encouraged us to give each  other a hug and we did. I've never gotten so many nice hugs from so many  strangers before. It was like being in a sports arena and seeing your favorite  team win a championship. I definitely encourage you guys to try this out. It's a experience that will help you feel at peace and open to other  people. See you there!

After having some time to truly reflect on the events of yesterday I felt compelled to write to you. Yesterday was a very special day on my journey of self-discovery. I have opened my heart up to becoming a healer and I could not have done it with out your beautiful guidance. There is no question that divine intervention was part of our meeting. Yesterday you passed on a very scared gift – the gift of healing. As you said yesterday – Reiki has a way of finding when we are meant to rediscover it – and it was my turn to take the next step. When I did the math and discovered that 21 days from yesterday was the day after my birthday – everything made so much sense. At the end of my 21 Days of Healing, I will have a true birth day!  I feel the shift, and I will continue to honor myself and my guides as I continue to embark on the beautiful journey that is before me.
